Best Western The Crown Hotel
We enjoyed ourselves overall and would recommend it.
Friendly, polite staff. Comfortable bed. Plenty of parking. Wi-fi worked even though telephone reception didn't!
It's a very old hotel and they are doing their best to modernise but the decor is dated. Dining expensive and menu subject to hyperbole. Piped music unnecessary. Cooked breakfast obviously prepared in advance so many elements the worse for wear for standing too long: fried eggs solid, for example.
