September 22, 2011Central location, handy for town centre, restaurants, pubs and RSC. Free parking.
Had a room in the older part of the hotel, which is at the front of the building. However the traffic noise was very obvious and the "double-glazing" was ineffective. The room was quite small and the bathroom was even smaller ( about 1 metre wide by 3 metres long ). The paintwork on the bathroom window sill was badly flaking, and the extractor fan in the window was filthy.

July 23, 2011The old period features in main building and the central position.
Noise of extractor fan from kitchen attached to side wall of room 201. Lack of cold meats with continental breakfast and lack of someone to seat guests at breakfast and explain arrangements and options. Letter of complaint on its way!!

November 30, 2011Its near to the town centre.
We were very disappointed with our stay as we were hoping that our weekend away would be special one hence we booked into a 4 star hotel. When we arrived, we were given a room in the old part of the hotel (Tudor) but when we slept for the 1st night we realised that we could hear very loud noises and music from the board room downstairs when there was a function and this went on for almost 11.45 pm. We also found the floor was creeky and that we were woken up by someone who was snoring upstairs. When we tried to call reception to report the noise downstairs, no one picked up the phone and we tried room service and the operator with no avail. We also found the bed throw had unpleasant stains and unwated human hairs on the duvet. The tea cups were dirty with stains. We made a complaint in the morning and they moved us to the end of the 1st floor corridor in the new part of the hotel. We believe this room to be the farthest they could picked as it seemed to be endless walk to our room, We discovered the bathroom tiles had mould not cleaned and also behind the taps.On the whole, we found our stay to a be a rather disappointing one and would not recommend this to our relatives and friends. Your faithfully Lily Whipps

November 29, 2011Fantastic central location
Car parking - the car park is pay and display for non residents and due to the central location gets very busy, preventing residents from parking

November 16, 2011The room was very clean, a good size and comfortable.
We booked the hotel on a half board basis, however we were not given half board, instead we were given £25 towards dinner. The only way you choose a dinner within the £25 budget was to choose the cheapest first, main and sweet which came to £24.50 not including tea / coffee which is a further £2.95, this being the case to choose from the menu really meant spending more than £25 each. The menu is also restricted, very overpriced and small portions. The booking of half board is missleading and missrepresentation. I did complain to hotel staff during my stay. booking.com miss represented the booking stating half board basis

October 6, 2011We came to Stratford primarily for the theatre and we particularly enjoyed the pre-theatre dinner arrangement. We stayed here a couple of years ago and though the food then was very good we felt it had stepped up a gear this time. The hotel is excellently situated for theatre and shops. It's parking facility is also one of the reasons we chose it.
Nothing we can think of.

I was not happy with the fact that I had not been informed in advance that using TV would be charged.

June 13, 2011I was in Stratford on business and I really valued the free parking for the two days that I was there. It made the hotel a much more attractive proposition than some of the others.
I had trouble getting under the shower as I was in one of the older rooms and there wasn't much room for it to be fitted over the bath because of the sloping roof. This wasn't really an issue, as I realise that there is little the hotel can do about it as it's the nature of the building, and I was more than prepared to accept this. Apart from this, there wasn't anything I disliked about the hotel.

January 22, 2012The Legacy Falcon Hotel was in a superb location within Stratford on Avon. It was central to the town centre. The hotel was modern but also had an 'old fashioned feel' and the staff were friendly and the customer service was excellent. The room was spacious and the double bed was luxuorious. The price was most reasonable.
Despite all of the possitives the bedroom was very hot even though the radiators were turned off and there was no control over that. The balcony could have done with a sweep & once over, (lots of old leaves and a dirty cigarette water filled ash tray on the balcony). The toilet smelled of stale urine and allmost humerously the bathroom window had no blind so all those unsuspecting residents outside our room had an illuminated shiluette of a naked figure in the shower!! ( I chose to do a John Travolta type shower routine) :-) Despite these points.... a most pleasant location.

January 11, 2012The location in the centre of Stratford is excellent and the free parking for hotel guests very useful. We booked half board and were amazed at the quality of the food, we really did not expect it to be so good. The waitress on the first evening was extremely helpful, she was also a receptionist and bar person, and there was a manager who was working there over the Xmas break from Plymouth who could not have been more chatty and informative, both these members of staff really made our break. Our room was in the old part of the building and was very comfortable and clean, the only critisism we could make was that the bathroom was on the small side. Overall a very pleasant break.

The Legacy Falcon Hotel was in an excellent position for all the sights in Stratford. It was within walking distance of the rsc, Canal and shops. However the hotel itself was beautiful from the outside, but the rooms were very disappointing for a four star hotel. The room was small, badly decorated and the bed was 4 feet from the door into the corridor. We felt like we were actually in the corridor!!. Should be 2 stars for the hotel, 4 stars for the location.
The room was very small, the bed was right next to the corridor, the tv was in a bizarre place that you kept banging your head on it, and the bathroom was tiny!
