Situated on the A170 between Helmsley and Pickering, the George and Dragon Inn is in the heart of the North Yorkshire Moors National Park. It offers full English breakfasts, free Wi-Fi and free parking.
Originally a 17th-century coaching inn, its rooms are spacious and come with satellite TV. Each also has facilities for making tea and coffee, and an en suite bathroom with a hairdryer.

Kirbymoorside is an old market town with a partially cobbled main street. Scarborough and Whitby are both less than 25 miles from the building.
