The friendly and welcoming Gifford House has free parking and is about 1.25 miles south of Princes Street and on a main bus route to Edinburgh city centre.

Gifford House is on the A7, but is quiet and peaceful to the rear. Rear bedrooms enjoy superb views towards Salisbury Crags and Arthur's Seat.

The Victorian house serves a full Scottish breakfast and offers a good breakfast menu. The rooms are of a high standard and have free Wi-Fi
