We had booked to stay here for two nights but only stayed for one, I would not recommend this hotel.
The reception staff was very polite and efficient, we had a very nice meal in the hotel restaurant and overall the standard of cleanliness was good.
The building was shabby and in bad repair in parts, our room had rust stains in the shower room and the bedroom was in need of decorating. In the morning there was no hot water, the receptionist said she would sort it out for us so we had our breakfast before being able to shower, shave, wash hair etc. Two hours later the water was still cold and the handyman who we think may have been the owner said that he would be prepared to shower in it so we were left with no other choice than a cold shower! We had booked to stay on Friday night so we could get up leisurely on Saturday and get ourselves ready to go to a wedding. We ended up getting ready in a hurry as we had waited for the hot water that had been promised and arrived at the wedding flustered after rowing with the handyman/owner.
