Glenwood Hotel is a 5-minute drive from Dreamland, an amusement park which featured in an episode of the hit TV show Only Fools and Horses. A range of shops and restaurants can be reached in around 10 minutes on foot.
Deal and Walmer castles can be reached in 40 minutes’ drive, and date back to the 1500s, when Henry VIII built them to help defend the coast against France and Spain.
