The Great Trethew Manor is set in 40 acres of beautiful grounds, featuring a trout fishing lake and croquet lawn. The traditional rooms boast period features and wonderful views.
The elegant rooms are classically decorated with antique furniture and floral fabrics. Some feature four-poster beds and exposed beams, and all have en suite bathrooms and tea and coffee facilities. Free Wi-Fi is also accessible in each room.
The on-site restaurant serves a creative menu and selection of exotic steaks, including zebra and bison. A children’s menu and afternoon teas are also available, and light lunches and bar snacks are served throughout the day.
The wonderful grounds offer pony trekking and fishing, and there is also a spacious barbecue terrace. The cosy lounge bar features a log fire, oak beams and an original flag-stone floor. Free on-site parking is also available for guests.
Surrounded by rural countryside, Great Trethew Manor is just 6 miles from historical Looe and its nearby sandy beaches. Plymouth‘s bustling town centre and ferry port can be reached in 30 minutes, and Dartmoor National Park is just 30 minutes’ drive.
