Surrounded by 9 acres of woodland and rivers, the Grade II listed Newbury Manor Hotel is just 15 minutes’ walk from Newbury town centre. It offers an award-winning restaurant and free Wi-Fi.
Many bedrooms have balconies overlooking the Kennett and Lambourne rivers, with woodland and water-meadow views. All rooms offer Art Deco style bathrooms, a Freeview TV and tea and coffee.
The River Bar Restaurant is set on an island for waterside dining, serving a menu using local produce. It is surrounded by 2 rivers, and originally housed a blacksmith’s forge.
Both rivers are full of fish, whilst there are deer, otters, and other wildlife that can be spotted in the Manor Hotel’s grounds.
Guests can reach Newbury Racecourse and its rail station with 10 minutes’ walk or a 5-minute drive. The M4 motorway is 5 minutes’ away by car, and beautiful Highclere Castle is 15 minutes’ drive.
