Oaklands is situated on one of the many Isle of Wight cycle routes, and secure bike and golf club storage is available. There are 3 village pubs within easy walking distance, and The Yarbridge Inn is just across the road.
Access to the scenic Brading Downs is a short (uphill) walk away. Fishing on the River Yar is less than 100 metres away.
All rooms at Oaklands House feature an LCD TV with DVD player, an iPod dock and a silent refrigerator.
The heated swimming pool is open most days until dusk, from June to September. Rare red squirrels come to the garden to feed, so no guest pets are allowed.
Oaklands has been awarded 5 stars by IW Council for food hygiene standards, and has Gold status from Green Island Tourism. Please note that Oaklands is adults only (over 18s), and is non-smoking.
