The Palace Hotel
On the day a decent peroformance but the lack of response to a request for confirmation of our booking really was not good enough. Another guest told us that staying a week later would have resulted in a doubling of the bill. Only if you didn't want to see us again!!
Very easy to book and the price reasonable (£125 for a double room). Room 250 would only be reasonable at this price, any more would be enough to ensure that we would not book again.
Annoying that I emailed requesting confirmation of our booking and didn't get a response even though you had 4 days to reply. The quality of the cooked breakfast was woeful: sausages burnt on one side and pink on the other, no hash brownies and very salty bacon. My standards at home are a little too high for the 'chef'!
