  The proximity to the town centre and marina was excellent. The staff on reception and in the restaurants were so helpful and kind. They always had a smile on their face and were eager to help. I would definitely stay here again!

  Excellent hotel. Great location in Liberation Square and handy for bus station. Very friendly and efficient staff. Great breakfast buffet.

  Its location for our two business appointments was perfect. Everything was calm and our reception and treatment by the staff was, without exception quite outstandingly friendly, helpfull and competent

  It suited our purpose admirably but the location means that it is surrounded by buildings, so views from the windows are not there. However many bedrooms overlook the inner area of the three sided building which is light and spacious, but the noise of the hotel operatiing extractors was a touch intrusive till about 11pm, with the windows open.

  I Like the Pomme d'Or for its friendly staff, nothing is too much trouble. It is located well in the town and near to the shops and amenities. Very Good value for money which even includes breakfast which is absolutely superb.

  Its location is perfect for shopping in the lovely town, it feels quite luxurious but without the luxurious prices. It's warm and welcoming.

  We paid for an upgrade to a harbour view room but found that it wasn't really a harbour view room. It was a corner room, spacious enough but a very dark room. We couldn't have the curtains open because we were overlooked by other buildings on the opposite side of the road Theonly view of the harbour was from a small window, which wasobstructed by the dressing table. It was, in all a lovely room but I feel cheated as it wasn't worth the upgrade of £15 per night. The breakfasts were not up to the usual standard of the Pomme D'Or, but on the whole were acceptable. We always used to stay at the Merton, but found the Pomme D'Or much more superior, but the breakfasts at the Merton are unbeatable. Despite these small matters, we shall continue to stay at the Pomme D'Or as we visit Jersey twice or three times every year.

  We wanted a Hotel that was in the centre of St Helier with a good reputation for service and high standards and I can say we were not dissappointed. We would definitely stay here again and have already been talking to our friends about returning in the Summer to have a better look around Jersey. Would definitely recommend this Hotel to anyone that wants to have a lovely holiday in a Hotel were nothing is too much trouble and with shops, restaurants and bars very close the weekend break was a real joy.

  This hotel is perfectly located, in a central location by Liberty Wharf shopping centre and opposite the bus station. The staff are very approachable and helpful and the rooms are clean and comfortable. Food-wise, the breakfasts are top quality and plenmtiful. I also ate a room-service meal which was excellent.

  I stayed on the top floor and the air-conditioning system at the top of the building is noisy at night. Also the noise of late-night revellers could be heard from my room (515( with the window slightly open.

  For me it had all I wanted. Very friendly staff, nothing too much for them when asked. Nice clean room, good food and in all a very comfortable stay. Very near the shopping centre.

  We have stayed at the pomme d'or for a short breaks for many years, the staff have changed over the years but we have always found them very helpfull and courteous, the location is ideal for sightseeing, shopping, or island tours.

  I am pleased to say that I have never had any cause or reason to make a complaint.

  Probably the most friendly hotel I have stayed in,in the last 20years. The staff were superb,particularly the reception staff. No request was too big and they bent over backwards to help. We received an upgrade on arrival and the food superb (breakfast has to be best on the island) We enjoyed it so much we are making a return trip in the new year. Great experience,thank you all 5* and more

  Breakfast was really good. Wished I had tried evening meal. Hotel was really clean and comfortable. Staff really helpful with needs ie Non feather filled bed linen etc.

  Reception excellant, staff service very good

  Cleanliness of public areas, bars, lifts etc very poor. Food only average for a very well regarded hotel. The hotel seems to cater for mainly business guests.
