Exhausting and we had a long drive the next day.
Location was close to where we needed to be. Staff pleasant enough, overall appearance of the hotel is shabby, the room was reasonably clean
The room was hideously hot and air less and smelt stale, the windows could not be opened, we were awake most of the night, and yes there was air conditioning which is noisy, very drying for the already unpleasant atmosphere and who wants air conditioning in March in England? I talked to reception about this as we were leaving – only to be informed that we had been given an ‘executive’ room hence the air conditioning....had I been aware there was a choice at the time of booking, I would not have chosen this option. Instead of a comfortable and relaxing nights stay it was an ordeal and we checked out at 10.15am...most disappointed. We regularly stay in hotels around the Country, this experience has been one of the worst.
