Ayr Station Hotel
Not the best of my experiences - I paid £ 35.00 per night for the experience and am not satisfied.
My room was not available - the computer system had broken. I was sent to a room where the water was pouring into buckets at the window. Then I was as much as verbally accosted by two residents that demanded to know who was occupying their room. They violently banged on the door and tried to get in when the door was locked. I was sent to another room which had a very badly functioning tv. There was a 'shower' head that was attached to taps and leaked. I tried to fill the bath by using the kettle. The residents were noisy and drunk and made lots of noise during the night. My room was not cleaned once and the breakfast was just about acceptable. The room was some distance from the lift and I could not use it when I tried and had to go up and down lots of stairs 3 times to pack my car.
