Staff very friendly, but that was about the only plus point.
The rear aspect of the hotel overlooked the river and we were able to take pleasant walks from the hotel.
The hotel was situated in a residential area which was totally unexpected. It had the feel of a rather dated motel rather than a nice old character hotel. Our room was very small, and in need of some updating. We where not even able to shut the bathroom door for a little privacy as it was poorly fitted. On our arrival we purchased dinner at the hotel which was very dissapointing (heated in a microwave and splattered all over the dish), not good!and needless to say this was the one and only meal purchased at the hotel.
