Built in 1816, Rookery Hall Hotel is set in 38 acres of scenic wooded parkland. It offers an award-winning restaurant, a luxurious spa and fitness centre, and free designer toiletries.
The elegant Victorian mansion has maintained its original features, which include mahogany panelling, ornamental ceilings and colourful stained glass. The classically-decorated rooms feature a 42-inch flat-screen TV, and some have garden views and luxury bathrobes.
There is a grand, candlelit dining room, where seasonal dishes are served. The Drawing Room offers champagne afternoon teas and evening cocktails, and there is also a Spa Café and traditional bar, which overlooks the gardens.
The Rookery Hall Spa is set in a converted stable block, and features a Crystal Steam Room, glass-roofed swimming pool and hydrotherapy pool. A full range of beauty treatments are available, and there is a Health Club with a choice of exercise classes.
Bordered by the River Weaver, Rookery Hall Hotel & Spa is 15 minutes' drive from the M6, and within easy reach of Chester, Manchester and the medieval town of Nantwich. Crewe Station is a 10-minute drive away.
