Scarborough was lovely and so was the weather which made up for the disappointment of the hotel
Room was adequate, breakfast good,
I asked for a superior double room with a sea view, which I got, but the windows were filthy and had bird poo on.I Had also booked a twin for famly, windows also dirty with bird poo. I mentioned it at reception and was reminded it was only a 3 star hotel, but thats no excuse for dirty windows. Had to ask for soap as my husband wanted a bath and we assumed there would be some in the bathroom. Could not find our way to the Spa and pool, and when we asked at reception the person on duty deceided to take a long phone call so we left, and never saw the pool.
