This Victorian hotel overlooks the scenic Royal Tunbridge Wells Common and is a 2-minute walk from the town centre.
Guests can have a drink in the Russell Hotel bar or relax in the casual and spacious lounge area. A full English breakfast is served in the hotel’s dining room which has views of The Common.
All rooms at the Russell have private bathrooms and Freeview TVs. Tea and coffee is provided and some rooms have free Wi-Fi. Annexe rooms have a small kitchenette with fridge, toaster and microwave.
The historic shopping district of The Pantiles and the floral Calverley Gardens are under 15 minutes’ walk away. Tunbridge Wells Rail Station is a 7-minute walk away.

Difficult to get information from reception staff as there was only one person on duty who seemed to be always dealing with phone calls.
Centrally located hotel, easy walking distance to all ameneties. Comfortable room with good full English breakfast.
Fairly difficult to drive to due to one-way system. No lift facility so rather awkward to negotiate the 3 flights of stairs with our full holiday luggage. This unfortunately was not mentioned when booking.
