The Crown has a mixture of traditional and modern bedrooms, including the four-poster suite that featured in the film ‘Four Weddings and a Funeral’.
There is a restaurant, lounge and bar area and a varied lounge menu is served from 12:00 until 22:00.

Only stayed one night arrived late, left very early. The time we spent there was very pleasant, would recommend this place to others.
The staff were lovely and the food in the restaurant fantastic, the inn itself was gorgeous.
Reception had not received the booking from Active Hotels so I had to show them my email confirmation on my Blackberry to prove my booking, not the hotel's fault but perhaps there's an issue with Active Hotels booking confirmation system. The rooms in the annexe weren't as cosy as the rooms in the main house (seen on the internet), but I guess you get what you pay for...
