The upstairs level has marvellous views across the Medway towards Upnor Castle and there are also extensive outside seating areas from which to enjoy the view. The Ship & Trades consists of 11 en suite rooms. A lift is available for easy wheelchair access to both floors.

Excellent welcome from reception on our arrival. Friendly staff, prompt service from bar staff.
Main ceiling light not working in our room (other lighting was enough though). Shower screen would be better than a shower curtain.

Location, accommodation/ comfort, bar and restaurant choice of menu. Close to Chatham Dockyard and Shopping Outlet. Lovely position overlooking the yacht basin.
Whirring noise from coolers during the night. Mentioned this to the Landlord and was advised that due to the property being a listed building, the coolers had to be placed where they were. Coolers
