Within minutes walking distance are The Stephen Joseph Theatre, Spa Complex and the town centre, as well as a Shopping Centre, Cricket Ground and Bowling Centre.

Although the hotel's central location means that they are close to the main road route around Scarborough, it is fortunate to be set back from this in a small grassed square.

Parking permits are available from reception and allow parking all day on the date stated, until 13:30 the next day.

The bar and restaurant is open from 5:30 till 10:00 on weekdays, and until 10:30 at weekends (except Sundays).

Area information

If you take a short walk down to the beach there is a seafront bus service taking you to attractions such as Watersplash, Kinderland or the Sealife Centre. Scarborough is the ideal base for your visit to North Yorkshire, being closely located to the North York Moors and Yorkshire Dales.

There is no lift in the hotel.

If you are due to arrive outside of the published check-in times, you must contact the hotel in advance.

Please note that the hotel bar and restaurant are closed from 12 December 2011 until further notice.
