Situated on the High Street, this former coaching inn has free Wi-Fi and private parking. Just 450 metres from West Quay Shopping Centre, Southampton Central Train Station is less than a mile away.
The Star Hotel is in a historical part of Southampton, about 650 metres from Southampton Port, with ferries to the Isle of Wight and cruise ship terminals.

The staff were very friendly
The hotel is old and a little run down, the picture show on the website is nothing like the room I had which was stuck in the 1970's
