Room was very dusty and walls where covered in dust, The Bath towels kept in Wardrobe where dirty and had to call reception for replacements, this was 3rd stay at the worlds end and have had pleasant stays before but would now think twice about staying there again.

August 31, 2011Good, well cooked breakfast. Knowledge of staff when asked about history of the name. Isn't this something you should advertise more widely? Not one for music first thing but the choice was at least relaxing.
When we entered the room discovered a switch was damaged. Reported it on leaving. Staff not aware. Room (8) very poorly lit. Little natural light. Had to keep blinds closed for privacy.

July 14, 2011Everyone was so friendly and welcoming. The room had everything we needed, the evening meals were superb with excellent service. It only took us 20 minutes to get to Silverstone race circuit and even with the end of Grand Prix queues still only took an hour. Most of all though was the friendliness of the staff, they really made our stay so enjoyable.

July 7, 2011On initial arrival, the staff were extremely helpful and friendly. We did not have an evening meal, but the lunch we had was lovely and good value for money. The room was very comfortable and clean and the breakfast was lovely.
The only one minor downside was the lack of towels in the room

June 16, 2011Was at Silverstone for the Motor gp and this was nearest hotel that we could find. Hotel looked very quaint from the outside but was fully modernized within. Very comfortable and clean rooms. Ate twice in the Restaurant and the food was very good. Would recommend this hotel and would probable stay in it again.

I was quite looking forward to my stay here as the website made it look like a really lovely country retreat...Unfortunately, this was not the case. Firstly, the room, well, it felt like a retirement home, obviously i can only speak for my room no.2, but the carpet was stained and the walls too, it's in desperate need of a face lift. not at all what we expected. We had also booked a table in the restaurant for the evening, overall the food presentation was good, but the quality was poor, two guests soup starter came out stone cold, while the other came out piping hot...the chicken in my caeser salad was well overcooked and as such really tough and not edible...this was the same with the T-bone steak, asked for rare and got what can only be described as very well done...i would say it seemed like the kitchen may have been understaffed as the wait for each course was over 45 mins each..all in all i would not reccomend this hotel, it has potential to be lovely but in my experience is far from the quality expected.

June 14, 2011The food was really nice as were the staff! Went to Silverstone to the MotoGP, excellent base for that, about 10 miles or so to the circuit. The place itself is clean and modern. The only slight negative was the bed....not very comfy but don't let that little gripe put you off! All in all....excellent!

March 28, 2011A one night stay to facilitate a friend's party locally, so didn't get to try the restaurant other than for breakfast. Good clean, well presented hotel, offering value for money and in particular an excellent breakfast. Would have no hesitation in recommending to others.

We were staying in the hotel for pleasure not business so we found that the breakfast was not served late enough, it is served until 10am on the weekend and 9:30 weekdays and also check out was quite early 10am.

Staff are lovely. Restaurant and bar great. Beautiful setting too. Oh, the breakfasts are delicious also.
Beds are really uncomfortable and towels are old! Lift needs fixing, too.
