July 22, 2011Wroxall is absolutely stunning and we felt utterly pampered by the time we left, though our stay was just for one night. The room was beautiful - high ceilings,a bay window and a four poster bed which added to the romance! The staff were so welcoming and helpful, keen to ensuer that we enjoyed our stay. We made full use of the spa faciities and would recommend. The breakfast was good and the evening meal at Sonnets restaurant was excellent. I liked the fact that there were two options which allowed for those on a budget to enjoy a meal in the hotel without spending a fortune.
The only thing I didn't like about our stay is that is was so short! Wish we could have had another night.

October 17, 2011This ia a very comfortable hotel in lovely grounds. The staff are excellent, they manage to pitch their approach at just the right level and their service was excellent. The food was very good - decided to eat at hotel both evenings of our stay. When they knew it was my birthday they ensured we had a table next to the huge log fire and complimentary glass of champagne each. The room was beautiful ( we were upgraded)- large four poster bed which was very comfortble and a large spa bath.
Hospitality try was very limited - only tea and coffee no biscuits.

October 16, 2011Th location
Wroxall abbey is overpriced, our room was in the Court yard (old stable block) where the rooms are small and due to the secondry double glazing the windows could not be opened. I also noticed that it was not disabled freindly.

September 22, 2011We all loved Wroxhall Abbey! Kids and adults agreed it was the best place we stayed during our trip to England. The first impression as you drive up the long driveway knocks your socks off...so grand and beautiful. We attended a nice church service in the very old chapel on the grounds, and there is even a more ancient ruin to explore as well. A fascinating place! In addition to the wonderful history of the place, Wroxhall also has a fabulous staff and lovely rooms. We couldn't have been happier with our stay there.

July 13, 2011Wroxall Abbey Estate is quite impressive and definately had the wow factor when me and my partner first arrived. We stayed in the Court which is not as impressive as the main manison house itself but still the rooms were nice and comfortable. We were very impressed with the hotel staff who were very nice and made us feel very welcome. I would definately recommend this as the hotel and staff were lovely, we had a peaceful and relaxing stay and also it's not too far from local attractions such as Warwick Castle.

April 27, 2011This is a lovely hotel and one we hope to return to soon. It is in a great out of town location and very peaceful. I particularly liked the comfortable mattress and feather duvet and the cooked to order breakfast!
The supper - i.e. roast turkey was missing the trimmings.

January 18, 2011The position and history
Felt it needed updating and attention to detail. ie. bath side coming off, would have been nice to have some bottled water in the room, telly was old and positioned too high so not easy to control.

May 3, 2011Only the food and the friendliness of the dining staff..The location was nice and so were the views.
Where do I begin. We stayed here as a treat for my birthday. We booked a bed and breakfast and evening meal package for one evening. We were sent to our room on the second floor. I was shocked on how dated and dismal the room looked. The carpet was very stained and the windows had so much bird mess on them. The furniture was old and rickety. We instantly returned to reception to complain and asked to be moved. The young girl asked us what we didnt like and we said everything and listed our reasons. She said that our room was one of the best. I thought she was joking. Apparently not. She showed us 4 more rooms and to be honest we had to pick one out of a bad bunch. We were told we would have to pay an upgrade fee of £25.00. What a joke. This we reluctantly agreed as the only other alternative was to go home. We would of still been charged as they had my card details. The room we chose was thick with dust. I dusted everywhere before we unpacked, even inside the wardrobe. The tv is ancient and sky was not working. The en-suite was a lot nicer than the room. The bar drinks are very expensive. On departure they tried to charge us again for our food, even though we were on bed, breakfast and evening meal. This experience spoilt my birthday celebration. We would not waste my money staying there again and I will certainly pass the word around to family and friends. We feel ripped off.

Beautifukl building. Lovely gardens.
Excellent in most respects but some aspects a little care worn - carpet in room had an iron shaped burn in it, the dining tablws were extremely badly scratched and needed repolishing. Other than that, very good.
