Built in the 1890s, this Victorian building has been modernised but retains its period charms. The private garden is open to guests and there is also a residents’ bar.
Breakfast options include cereal, croissants and a cooked English breakfast. Awarded for its levels of hygiene, the restaurant offers home-cooked evening meals as well as light snacks, with children’s meals available given prior notice.
The Wycliffe Hotel is 10 minutes’ drive from the Channel Tunnel, Folkestone Railway Station and the M20 motorway. Dover Ferry Port is 15 minutes away, as are the famous White Cliffs of Dover.

Nice quiet hotel, very clean and the staff/owners very good and eager to please. Good facilities in the room. L would book again for myself and staff when in Folkestone.
