  Hotel was excellent, clean and well provided. Did not use restaurant. Would use again in a minute.

  It was hard to locate using their description. We did finally find it and was glad we went the extra mile.

  Good value for money. My wife and I have stayed several times en route from our home in Wales to Ennis, County Clare.Waterford is convenient to stay overnight and the Ramada Viking Hotel there is friendly and unfussy. The hotel staff are always helpful.

  Very friendly staff, rooms are clean but no frills! The hotel does a good trade, breakfast buffet is always well stocked unlike the bar!

  The Ramada Viking adequately provided my requirements and I would certainly stay there again and have no hesitation in recommending it. I was disappointed that having booked a table at reception for dinner in the restaurant on our arrival - however when we went to the restaurant at 8 P.m for dinner we were told the restaurant was closed and we could eat in the bar.

  The room was very spacious and quiet (3rd floor) and check out wasnt until 12

  Staff didnt not informed us on arrival that the hotel restaurant was closed the night we stayed. Some of our group had to wait until three o'clock to get their room even though check-in is from two o'clock.

  Room wasnt cleaned during second day, rang reception to ask why and for fresh towels and sheets where then we were handed the towels and then given the sheets to do it ourselves, i dont book hotels so i can clean them myself! I mean im by no means a slob but when i leave the room at 11 o clock and get back by 6 i atleast expect clean towels and sheets to be changed and not expected to do it myself... Even though cleaning staff were present at half 5sh?! After a long day it would have been nice to come back, have a shower and go to bed for a nap without the hassle! The bar staff were not at a high standard, the night porter was nice! The service in restaurant was definatley not to a high standard although no complaints about the food, and only 1 tv channel in our room!! We were on top floor and wifi wasnt very strong!!:(...

  Location was close to attractions. Staff was very helpful and assisted with some building noise issues. Room was not sound proof. Good internet connection. Good parking. Bathroom was very clean.

  Mattress sagged in the middle too much. Carpet needed to be cleaned.

  The price was very reasonable for room only accomadation. The breakfast at 10 euro each was very good and we also had the carvery lunch on one of the days and it was very nice. As we were there on a new years Eve it was lovely to have a band on in the bar that night.

  The room was very hot even when we turned the radiator off.

  Cheap price for the night.

  Room facilities very poor, no air conditioning, easily accessible heating control - very basic and sound insulation was very poor making for a less than comfortable night's sleep.

  The staff were absolutely brilliant. I couldn't have asked for anything more. I have stayed in far more expensive places, and the staff here were more genuine and decent than them all. People should stay here if they are in Waterford, the hotel is fine, but the staff are excellent, first rate.

  Over the last 2 years we have stayed in The Ramada Hotel several times as my husband was a patient in Whitfield Clinic a few times. The location of the hotel is so convienent to the clinic. As we are from West Cork, we usually stay night before appointments etc. I have recommended the hotel to alot of people from the area who travel to Whitfield. The staff are always very friendly & so helpful. Keep up the good work. Margaret
