We were there three night and enjoyed our stay at the hotel immensely. It is within walking distance of all the major tourist sites has decent restaurants nearby.
Friendly, excellent staff who spoke good English and give useful and accurate information. Excellent location. Good, clean, airy rooms. Breakfast had a decent variety of items. Mini bar is useful if only to provide a fridge in the room. There is free wi-fi in the rooms and the bathrooms are supplied with an excellent range of toiletries etc including a small manicure set. There is also a very pleasant rooftop terrace with a stunning view of the Duomo and bell tower which are just up the street from the hotel Depending upon the rooms there are some magnificent views. We were on the fourth floor looking out at three ancient towers.
It needs a shelf or more space created in the bathroom for personal toiletries. The centre of Florence can be noisy late at night as sound echoes in the narrow streets and in the early morning the street cleaners are out before the city starts to move so it is not the quietest place around. We were on the fourth floor and on two nights heard groups who appeared to have had well lubricated evenings making their way home very noisily well after midnight. It is not the hotel's fault and it obviously affects all the central hotels but it is worth bearing in mind that the city centre can be noisy.
