December 11, 2011Nicely situated, nice view on Rome Valley from the hotel terrasse, very quiet, birds waking you up nicely in the morning. The little castle and its garden are charming. The rooms are ok, particularly when looking price vs quality. I went twice, for 100 to 120 euros per night, breakfast included and I will certainly go back.

October 11, 2011Nice quiet location near Castelli Romani area and easy access to Rome too. Comfortable and big rooms.
Hotel of this level hadn't fixed the main shower (not even during our stay), but we had to use the oldfashioned shower, where you had to shower on your knees.

August 29, 2011It's the best hotel I've ever visited! It's amazing, the ideal place to live in! A stunning views, vintage design, perfect location, helpful staff, delicious food. So if you want to feel yourself like a member of a noble family it is a right place to stay at.

August 19, 2011Wonderful hotel, great location. The hotel is like a museum itself. Magnificent. Ideal to spend a relaxing week-end and still enjoy Rome which is not far. Beautiful swimming pool.
The rooms dedicated to breakfast and to the restaurant are in the basement ... without acceptable window ... This is just not understandable for such an hotel. If it is fine for breakfast this is not acceptable for diner.

August 19, 2011The location was not ideal for a visit to the city of Rome as it involved a 30min train journey, but as a relaxing holiday in beautiful surroundings I would reccomend. The hotel staff were excellent and the room was very nice and clean. We did not use the hotel to eat in at night so I cannot comment, but the breakfast buffet and service was excellent.I would use the hotel again, but not as a location to base a visit to Rome sightseeing.

August 11, 2011On arrival the greeting is most welcoming .The staff remain professional yet approachable at all times. The instant impression of the Villa is that of grandeur, yet it retains a fairytale wonder about it.It certainly has that 'special something' that instantly puts one into total relaxed mode. The untouched decor takes one back into the history of the beautiful building and the splendour of the rural location, overlooking the hustle & bustle of Rome. It is magnificent in every way. The fresh breakfast is delightful and certainly sets one up for the day. I have visited many times and hope to return time and time again. I send a big thank you all staff at The Villa Grazioli.
Certainly no complaints.

July 14, 2011The hotel is in a nice location above Rome and close to Frascati town. However, as always the small things cause a problem. The hotel is renovating some rooms in the annex and there is some noise and dust. The hotel don't warn you about this and when questioned on Friday they said no work would take place at weekends. However, having been woken up at 8am by the noise of an electric saw on Saturday morning clearly means the hotel was lieing. Rusty water coming from the bath taps was not acceptable, and worst of all the shuttle bus left us in Frascati on the Sunday evening, meaning a 3km uphill walk on pitch black roads. How did the hotel respond to all of this? We are sorry, it should not have happened. No real apology. When checking out I heard another guest complain that a maintenance worker came in to their room at 9pm without knocking. Overall a hotel in nice grounds but let down by a sloppy attitude. Not really worth the 100€+ per night in my opinion.

July 3, 2011It is comfortable.
The hotel is more interested in its wedding and conference guests. Normal hotel guests take a back seat since they have weddings and conferences amost every day. The pool are then becomes overcrowded, dinner is unlikely to be pleasant surrounded by weddng guests and thier music and the lawns and parking are also taken over by the weddings and corporates.

July 2, 2011Location with respect to access to Rome and relaxed atmosphere.
Little light on service but very friendly. This is more likely a result of the focus on banquet bussiness resulting in under staffing. I still enjoy staying there at a fair price. Breakfast is great.

May 19, 2011Without exception, all staff very courteous, helpful and friendly. Beautiful main building with interesting history and sympathetic restoration. Guests free to look round all the rooms without restriction. Terrific views over Rome and surrounding area from the front of the main building. Useful and flexible courtesy minibus to Frascati all day and evening on demand. Coach house annexes comfortable, spacious, quiet, well-serviced and clean.

April 6, 2011Beautiful Scenery, beautiful historical main building, excellent service from all staff, always willing to help and accomadate requests from guests, very relaxed and Friendly atmosphere. Food both at breakfast and evening were excellent the only problem you would have is what to eat as the choice was so big. Being a little way out in the country, the free drop off and pick up shuttle from the hotel to Frascati, was a an excellent service, this took you to the main rail station were you could easily catch a train into central Rome, though both Frascati and Grottafetta, at a steady pace were both within 45 minutes to an hours walk, on a beautiful day well worth the walk. I would also suggest booking the hotels on site taxi service both to and from the airport. All in all I would like to thank all the staff at the Villa Gazioli for a pleasurable and relaxing experience.

March 21, 2011Beautiful settings, the painted walls are superb and the bar and common aeras are really beautiful. The room is a little bit simple compared to the stunning hall and dining rooms. Charming staff.
The restaurant was a bit disapointing - not bad but really not exceptionnal and quite expensive for what you get.

It's a bit difficult to find (maybe it's just a problem with us). The restaurant food was just OK. The interior was older then the average.
