With a quiet location next to Parco Nord, Starhotels Tourist offers free parking and excellent tram links into Milan's centre. Rooms are modern and comfortable with a choice of pillows.

Your day at this Starhotel begins with a varied buffet breakfast. La Cuccagnina restaurant serves a combination of Italian and international dishes, while L'Agora bar serves cocktails and wines in an elegant setting.

Rooms come with carpeted or wood floors and works of art on the walls. All with warm colour schemes, they also have air conditioning, a minibar and a TV with satellite and pay-per-view channels. Each bathroom has a hairdryer and toiletries.

Wi-Fi is available throughout the Tourist and the first 30 minutes are free in public areas. You will also find a new fitness centre and a large convention centre on site.

This 4-star hotel is 1 km from the Arcimboldi Theatre and Milan Bicocca University. Milan Cathedral and Central Train Station are reached in 30 minutes via tram or bus.

  Very clean hotel with good interior finishing for both hotel and rooms compared to the price paid. Good service and kind staff.

  The restaurant had very few selection and varities for the breakfast and the hotel was far from the "Duomo".

  The hotel staff was very nice. Rooms and bathroom are very clean. Breakfast is good. There is a parking in front of the hotel or downstairs.

  The internet is free only for 30 minutes.

  Our room and bathroom were very clean and confortable. We loved the breakfast, lots of variety and good quality. 30min free wireless internet in the lobby isn't great but we could live with that. Train and bus close to the hotel. We totally recommend this hotel if you don't mind being a little bit away from city centre.

  The neighbourhood of the hotel isn't very good: no shopping areas, lots of dark places. No free wireless internet (just 30minutes free). Room was small. Some employees didn't speak fluent english but they were nice though. Far from city centre.

  Very nice, clean & modern room, although not very big. Very nice bed. Good breakfast. Nice staff. Free parking. Great rate for the standards of the hotel.

  The neighbourhood of the hotel isn't very good at night...

  Very clean room, very good breakfast and helpful staff!

  We actually liked everything! However, location was a bit far but the staff helped us take a tram and go down-town.

  1. If you are planning for the milano nightlife the location is not a good choice unless you rent a car, otherwise using a taxi it will lead to the same price as renting a room near the center. 2.Free 128k internet for 30 minutes? Cmon we are not back on the nineties!

  One of the best 4-star properties I've ever stayed at. From top to bottom, it is a great place to stay in Milan. By comparison, I am staying currently at a 4-star in Mestre, outside Venice, and it is nowhere as nice as Starhotels Tourist and parking is €10 per day. Slightly outside the city, so it offers free parking, and takes about 20 minutes to get to Duomo via #31 tram, which is right outside the hotel door, and the yellow line. Six pillows to choose from, great breakfast choices, super-comfortable rooms, great water pressure in the shower, great rate (€85/night)... No complaints here.

  Not much I didn't like. Being picky, eggs at breakfast could be cooked a little longer as they were runny. But most places don't even serve eggs in Italy! Fresh fruit over canned would be a nice addition, too. They have one person cover the bar (front of hotel lobby) and restaurant (back of hotel lobby), and this can be a problem for some as there is a short wait once you notify the desk that you want service at the bar. They could manage this better.

  Behavior of the hotel receptionists and managers ruined all the good things to say about this hotel.

  I made the reservation through booking.com and paid off the total amount by my credit card through booking.com and it was paid in Euros. When I got to the hotel they gave me my bill and it was charged in dollars(eventhough my credit card was not in Dollars) at a very high rate. When I asked why they charged my card in Dollars instead of Euros they couldn't come up with a reasonable answer. What they said was my card gave the option to charge in Dollars so they chose to do so, but why? So I said ok then just refund it back so I would pay cash in Euros. They denied my request to pay in cash because they clearly are in profit by charging in Dollars. They said It could not be done due to company policy and they were really rude in saying so and the manager oh God! She told me I could go whereever I want to complain about it. Can you imagine a manager behaving like this. I was never rude and never tried to give problems there. I simply wanted to pay in the currency I see on my reservation and it was also cash not credit card. I dont think anyone would refuse cash payment instead of credit card payment unless they have some profit out of it. So if you ever wanna go there beware of this problem.

  Nice rooms and friendly staff.

  Below average breakfast and very poor location. You need about an hour and a combination of tram and metro to make it to the city center.

  quiet location

  The service in the restaurant was terrible. We arrived at 22.25 and the cook left already. We were advised to order a snack in the lobby bar. We got the choice between hamburger, toast and goulash. The quality was terrible. When we just finished we watched the waiter serving a T-bone steak to some other guests who came in later?! Answer from hotel : the manager had cooked for them and for us it was too late as our hamburger was already prepared (read "burned")

  Nice Service at Reception, really good rooms for the price

  Only turn-off was the breakfast which was a nightmare. Nearly nothing left to eat, waiter's were unfriendly and slow and my juice was unenjoyable because it was fermented. (the stockout of food happened on both days)

  We are a family with big children ,so we had two corespondent rooms,very big and clean. Breakfast was fine.We had a rented car and very important for us was the free and save parking in front of the hotel. Also the hotel isn't far from Linate airport ,about 15 minutes to drive.

  There is no free internet. A little far from the center of the city if you don't have a car,I understood that it takes about 30 minutes to get into the center by tram and metro,but for us it was ok,we foun a parking near the center and walked after.

  Very nice place. Everything was good. At cheap price, the breakfast buffet was included. Wi-Fi was even free for 30 mins in the Lobby. I could reach the access from the room, which was the third floor. If I go to Milano again, I'll certainly choose this hotel again.

  Good hotel, good value for the money, if you are able to get special price. Quite big superior room with big double bed and big fully equipped bathroom. The stuff is quite helpful.

  The breakfast extremely poor, like two star hotel. In the standard double room additional kinder bed cannot be placed, so you have to pay additional fee for upgrade to superior room if you are traveling with child and want to have additional bed

  Location of the hotel.It is easy to reach it from the highway by car ,there is a parking where to leave your car and reach easy to the city center by Public transport.The facilities , staff and the food at this hotel are very good!

  Nice Hotel, a little in the outer part of the city, but you are at the center within 20min. Helpful staff and a nice atmosphere.

  The breakfast buffet could be a bit larger, but the food was nice.

  The staff was good, decided immediately to change and upgrade our room because the fridge was out of order. The mattress and pillows were great. The upgraded room was excellent.

  Choosing to eat in hotel’s restaurant is a bad decision. Both meal and service are a misery.
