T is an ultra-modern hotel opposite Cagliari's Lyric Theatre with great bus links into the centre. It offers contemporary rooms, a stylish bar and the T SPA hydrotherapy wellness area.

Rooms are bright and spacious, with wood floors and modern bathrooms. All air-conditioned. They also feature a radio, satellite TV and minibar.

A full English breakfast is served each morning and the bistro is open for snacks and hot dishes at lunch. T Restaurant serves Sardinian and Italian dishes at dinner, while the bar hosts live piano evenings.

T Hotel features a modern gym and Acqua Journey spa with a hydrotherapy pool, steam baths and chromotherapy showers. You can unwind in the relaxation area with a selection of herbal teas.

The hotel is 2 km from Cagliari Cathedral and 10 minutes' drive from Poetto Beach. Cagliari-Elmas Airport is 10 km away.

  The reception was friendly and efficient.Opposite the hotel there is a free parking space for hotel guests. The quality of the breakfast is the best of Sardinie.

  The distance to the old city center is quite a long walk. However, downtown it is easy to pick a taxi that brings you back to the hotel for € 7,-.

  The staff were so polite, friendly and willing to help with anything. There is a taxi rank directly outside the hotel if you don't feel like walking into town. There is a great atmosphere in the bar.

  I felt that €5 for a bottle of local Sardinian beer was a little over the top!

  Very clean hotel, lots of attention to detail. Junior suite is awesome.

  It is unbelievable that in 2011 a hotel that charges you 200€+ for a room still asks you to pay 5€ for wifi access. It is just plain crazy. Please make it free and hassle-less as it should be.

  The hotel has a nice, modern style. The staff is friendly and english speaking. The breakfast is fresh and rich. The parking is free on the place in front of the hotel.

  The hotel is located about 20 minutes walk away from the ancient city.

  The hotel is a very upscale, modern design without being cold. The bed was terrific, the bathroom functional (unlike in many contemporary hotels), and the amenities very nice. The hotel is walking distance to the Mercato di San Benedetto, a nice, longer walk to the historic district, and very accessible to two bus lines--and the hotel has bus tickets for sale at the desk as an added easy touch. The breakfast was delicious, with fresh fruits and other nice touches. Most of all, the service was better than top notch. All of the desk personnel were friendly and helpful, especially Fabiana. We had a problem with a second room cancellation that had not reached the hotel, and she helped me access my email copy from Booking.com (which I hadn't brought with me to Italy), and telephoned Booking.com's Italian phone service number. The problem was quickly resolved, and I couldn't be more complimentary of both the hotel staff, and Booking.com.

  The only comment we have is that in this day and age wireless Internet should not be charged by the hour and should be included in the room price.

  The Service at Reception and the Restaurant and Bar was very good

  You had to pay for Wi Fi also the swimming pool was chargeable and having stayed for 5 days I think they should have been complimentary

  Location for visiting friends.

  No safety notices for footwear to be worn on entering the spa and to wear at all times out of the pool as we noticed several people slipping.

  The room at the hotel was clean, comfortable and spacious. The staff were also very helpful and the service was very good by European standards. The biggest disappointment is that, what looked like a very nice swimming pool in the pictures was in fact, a spa bath and as such, there is a charge for using it. Breakfast was ok with a good variety of food but the hot food section was very limited - not warm enough and the scrambled eggs were watery. The juice and coffee were good though.

  Liked a lot the design of the hotel and the spirit. Service was good but not extraordinary. Parking facilities (free) were very convenient (even underground) and there is a good bus connection to town (just ask at reception where you can buy the ticket as well). Therefore, despite not in the city center, access was easy (5 min walk, 10-15 min bus ride to the central station).

  Room was not available before the indicated check-in time. But staff stored the luggage (rather a plus?). Breakfast only starts at 7 am, which is unusually late for a business hotel. Choice of menu in the restaurant is too limited, so we did not dare. No swimming pool, just a SPA - for a hotel in such a country and for so hot summers a clear minus.

  The breakfast is out of this world. I travel very frequently and stay at hotels all the time. I think the breakfast at t Hotel is better than breakfast at Four Seasons Hotel and other 5 stars resort. The room was very nice and modern. In addition, staff is very helpful and responsive. We asked for recommendations for an ice cream place and they sent us to a lovely place. Parking is also very easy, just outside the hotel and there is also a taxi tank. It takes 10 minutes to go to the airport and 10 minutes to go to the city centre. The rate was very good value for money. I would definitely recommend this hotel and hope to go back.

  We stayed there during a very hot night in late August. I usually prefer hotels where I can open the window but I could not do so at T. I spent all night switching the air conditioning on and off as it was either too hot or too cold. The air conditioning was functioning but I just could not find the right temperature for me (I must admit that I am quite fussy on this topic - my boyfriend, for example, had no complaints).

  Spacious rooms. Excellent breakfast. Comfortable common spaces and a nice bar. Nice design.

  The room was perfectly quite, comfortable and clean. I slept so well as never before in a hotel.

  We couldn't visit the hotel's swimming pool because time available for kids was 9-11 only. Also the pool was not free of charge for hotel's guests (for family of 4 people it was pretty expensive!).
