    Extremely close to the airport, very good for late arrivals and early departures.

    Food is a problem, you have to eat at the hotel, no choice. There are no places around to go for a meal by walking. After a long travel day I took a late salami sandwich at the bar, it had only two small and thin slices on it. It was not fair for the price, at all. Complimentary Internet access would be good. (even low bandwith free, and optionally high speed with charge)

    "I booked a twin-bedded smoking room. At the reception desk I was offered a non-smoking room. The receptionist did not consult my booking form. I was then offered a smoking room. When I entered the room it was a double-bedded room and there was no ash-tray. I requested an ash-tray at reception but the staff seemed to be more interested in the business clients who arrived after me and it took 15 minutes to find me an ash-tray. I went to the bar with my wife for a snack and was photographed several times by a publicity photographer. When I told him that I did not agree to be photographed he replied Don't worry about it. The manager was called and apologised but seemed to be able to do nothing to ensure that my photograph would not appear in publicity for the hotel." (97455805)

    "This was the most expensive hotel we stayed at during our stay in the UK and the poorest value for money. Generally the hotel was overpriced and pretentious, most of the staff spoke English poorly or not at all. Reception staff not responsive to requests to book a taxi. " (97051892)

    Food in restaurant was excellent. Only adequate in the bar.

    In the restaurant we tried to tell a waitress that a family had sat briefly at a neighbouring table and a child had pretended to drink from one of the glasses she could not or would not understand us and refused to change the dirty glass. Serving staff should have at least a working knowledge of the English language. Plug in bathroom sink did not work, would not hold water. Requested staff at reservation desk to order a taxi for us to arrive at 5am. We were waiting but taxi did not arrive and after 2 further requests a limo was ordered and arrived. Not impressed. Amenities in the bathroom inadequate and very limited.

    "For one night it was ok - as we had a good price-deal!!!!! In no way would it have been acceptable for a longer stay or charged at full price!!" (97083094)

    Hotel was mostly clean, tidy and well provisioned. Staff were helpful, polite and friendly.

    Room was small. there appeared to be space and fittings for a fridge - BUT NO FRIDGE. Bathroom floor tiles were loose - the grout between (in front of the loo) was discoloured and when the adjacent tiles were trodden on a reddish brown liquid like dried blood appeared!!!!!!!!!!!!! Reception and Housekeeping did not answer the phone when i called to report the faults from the room phone!!!!

    "This is an airport hotel, and I stay their for convenience and do not expect too much. But it was comfortable with a good atmosphere - some Heathrow hotels I have stayed at were the opposite. This is the 2nd time I stayed at this particular hotel, and I chose it because my previous experience here was good." (97845620)

    Staff were very helpful, especially to my wife who was in a wheel-chair.

    I am a Priority Club member, but did not have my card. Registration Clerk was unable to trace me through my name. I would think if a loyalty club means anything, it should mean a database so that members can be recognised even if they are without their card. Initially I was told that there was not a room of the type I had booked by internet available. When I protested that the website should not then have taken my reservation, I was told the Registration clerk meant not immediately, but he could get one for me withinh 30 min (it was not yet 2.00pm). Once this misunderstanding was cleared up, I had a very good interaction with all staff.

    "I liked the hotel and accommodation, but I was disappointed in the information that I had gotten on-line about the transportation. I had been informed at the time of booking that the hoppabus operated every 8 minutes and that if it did not show up, the hotel would transport me at their expense. After landing at Heathrow, I was sent outside to catch it, but not given a bus number. That was one thing: I ran back and forth for over 90 mminutes trying to find one that would bring me to your hotel. Finally, I was told that it would H54 and then was unable to board without having gotten a ticket in advance. That information was missing from my on-line booking. I finally got to the hotel 2 hours later, and was told at the reception that the busses had changed their schedule to every 30 minutes. Even then, the bus did not show up within a 30-minute wait after buying the ticket. At check-in I was told that the bus would not stop in the front of the hotel, as I had been told by the bus driver. The clerk told me that I should take a taxi. The expense in just the transportation to and from the hotel was exorbitant." (97312424)

    The room was clean, smoke-free, the bed was comfortable and the room was quiet, although I was so near the airport.

    Large clean nice room, comfortable bed, reasonable food, nice restaurant staff. Proper tea in the room's tea/coffee making equipment!

    Had to express checkout (leave card details for later bill) as checkout computer was broken when I was checking out - did get the bill by fax 2 hours later though. Expensive Wifi - should be free in a business hotel like this.

    Very nice room and more amenities than I expected. Very, very clean.

    As noted on the card in the room - the shower curtain needed to be replaced as it had some very nasty looking brown stains on the inner surface.

    Certain staff were very helpful. Room and bathroom very clean.

    The wait to check in at approx 10.30pm was tedious there were only 2 staff on the front desk and the queue was at least 12 guests long

    Comfortable room, excellent location with easy access to Heathrow Airport and Central Bus Station.

    Inexperience Front Desk staff - unpolished in terms of courtesy and tone of language. Friendly in a way required by job but not tactful in communicating.

    "By and large the experience was very good, the kids loved it, your staff were very helpful. We were dissapointed at not having a bed for one of the girls but it was more than compensated by having such lovely rooms. The car parking was a big bonus. We also visited all 3 Holiday Inns at Heathrow before finally getting the right one. I am disabled, so it was quite frustrating & tiring to have to get all the bags & wheelchair out of the car 3 times before arriving at the right hotel." (97833688)

    Rooms were excellent, you kindly upgraded our children so they could be in the next room and floor to us. Kids eat for free was a lovely treat.

    We asked for a roll up bed for our youngest child and it never arrived so 3 kids had to share 1 double bed.

    Clean room, swift check in process.

    £16.50 was an extortionate extra for breakfast. No biscuits in the room to go with the tea, and my friend who I also booked for had only decaff coffee sachets.

    "On our first visit the room was fine . We did not know that hotels have smokers bedrooms and found it an unpleasant experience to have to sleep in one on our second visit( being given no choise.)The manager heard our complaint the next day and apologised and reduced the tariff.     It was well decorated, well soundproofed and reasonably spacious.

    There was no trouser press and the cable on the hairdryer was too short.

    The hotel was clean and tidy and well built and view outside the window was good too.

    Paying 9 pounds to leave my car parked overnight in the only parking available! This should either be included in the price or waived for paying guests.

    "The restaurant had a very limited choice of main courses. I was disappointed with my mediterranean veg pizza, which appeared to have very little mediterranean vegetables on it. I think it may have been frozen and reheated in a microwave as the outsides were warmer than the middle of the pizza. Disappointing from a 4 star hotel. The accommodation was fine though."     "after waiting 2 hours our food came out wet and warm, the bar staff did not know what they were doing and everyone was getting fustrated, after a long journey you don,t need this. however the bar manager kindly paid for our drinks and meal and gave us a free taxi to the airport which i thought was excellent of her."
