    Impressive, spacious building in excellent central location near British Museum. Efficient and friendly staff. Comfortable room if a little old fashioned. The hot towel on arrival was a nice touch. Decent (though expensive) breakfast.

    Bathroom decor could do with upgrading. Like too many London hotels, it's fairly expensive if you are on a limited budget (and most of us are!)

    "Very good - definitely stay again" (99970593)

    Professional yet relaxed. Very nice room, comfy bed, good room facilities. Check out very quick. Loved the hot towel on arrival.

    Good clean hotel in central London

    Only the check in was bad. My colleague arrived ahead of me only to find he could not check in as the reservation was not in the system. The reservation and pin number that was on the e-ticket was not accepptable and only the original print was enough to convince the front desk that we had a reservation. It was only as a secondary measure that I brought this with me as your system led me to believe that the booking number and pin was sufficient. My colleauge had to wait an hour for me to arrive and this was at 11pm when we had a busy day both behind and ahead of us. For the above reason I will not use this service again. It's simply not acceptable.

    Good location in Central London.

    One very bad point - a taxi arranged via Reception staff charged my daughter £15 for a short trip to Faringdon. The same trip in a London Cab taken by myself cost £7.00 the next morning. Rip off wouldn't you say!!!! I did mention this to Reception on check-out and must say the taxi booked by them to take me to the Railway Station was not overcharged.

    As above - very professional service, excellent accommodation and attention to detail. Staff were a credit to the hotel. Beautiful interior - we would very happily stay again! Loved it!
