This luxury, detached Victorian villa with beautiful private gardens, is set in a peaceful part of Torquay, a short walk from Torquay's conference centre and Abbey Sands beach, the harbour and town centre.

Nearby are the Torquay Riviera Conference Centre, the sports centre with indoor swimming pools, and Torre Abbey with its beautiful gardens, including pitch and putt, tennis and bowls. The beautiful thatched village of Cockington is only a mile from the hotel, with its attractive lakes and gardens

Please note that The Carlton Court is entirely non-smoking, does not cater for children or pets.

Accommodation is normally available by 13.00. Early arrivals may use facilities and leave luggage with reception and their car in the car park.

Rooms are to be vacated by 10:30. Luggage may be left with reception.

Breakfast is served from 08.30 to 09.30 (earlier if requested the night before).

• Children and extra beds: Children cannot be accommodated at the hotel. Baby cots are not available. Extra beds are not available. There is no capacity for extra beds/cots in the room.
• Cancellations: If cancelled up to 7 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged. If cancelled later or in case of no-show, a fixed amount of GBP 25.00 will be charged.

Important Information

Bookings must be confirmed by a credit or debit card with all relevant information. Money will not be debited until the account becomes payable. We simply obtain an authorisation from the card provider. For cheque or cash payments, please send a 25% deposit to confirm the booking. Deposits are normally non-refundable. Contact us immediately if you have to cancel. Your cancellation is effective from the date we receive notification in writing. If we are able to re-let the room, a pro-rata refund will apply. Accounts are payable in full the night before departure. We accept MasterCard, Visa, Maestro, Solo, American Express and Switch. If whole payment is to be by cheque it must be with a cheque guarantee card or be sent in advance in time to clear before arrival. (minimum of 4 working days) We reserve the right to refuse anyone who in our opinion, is not suitable. In such cases all charges will be refunded in full. We also have the right to discontinue to accommodate any person who, in our opinion, behaves unreasonably, damages property, is a danger to or significant annoyance to others. In this event no refund will be due. We do not take single sex parties regardless of how many in the group. Any groups booking on the internet will be turned away at the door with no refund due. (No exceptions).

Directions

From the A3022 Newton Road. Turn right into Avenue Road at the traffic light with Halfords and Torre station on the right. Take first left into Cleveland Road. Continue along Cleveland Road, cross Tor Park Road and you will find the Carlton Court Hotel 250 metres up on the right.
