The Dunroamin Hotel is family run and popular with both business people and tourists. Built overlooking the Kyle of Sutherland and once owned by Andrew Carniegie, the views are breathtaking. Fishing or just walking? We will store equipment, dry your garments and can freeze store your fish etc.

The owner /chefs, Iain and Lesley prepare a changing menu based on the best of local ingredients wherever possible. Area Information

Formerly lying on the main A9 road to the north Bonar Bridge, the village has now been bypassed and presents itself as a tranquil escape from the bustle of most modern environments. Set on the main A836 cycle route for Lands End to John O'Groats, the village sits at a crossroads of small, lightly used roads, most of which are single track, which lead the curious traveller to all points; north, east and west. Distances: Ullapool (west) - 1.5 hours Durness (north west) - 1.5 hours Tongue (north) - 1.5 hours John O'Groats (north east) - 2 hours

The Dunroamin Hotel is situated on the edge of the Higland Village of Bonar Bridge, approximately 40 miles north of Inverness, with easy access from the main A9. Ardgay Station is approximately one mile away, with regular train links to Inverness and the far north.
