This family-run hotel offers a warm, friendly, comfortable and relaxing stay in Loch Ness, and is housed within the world-famous Loch Ness 2000 Exhibition Centre.

Visit the exhibition centre's fantastic, 5-star multimedia exhibition, narrated into 14 different languages. There is a variety of shops in the complex including the Nessie shop and the whisky shop, and all things Scottish with a huge variety of products to remind you of your time at Loch Ness.

The newly refurbished Loch Ness Bistro features the freshest local cuisine, and there is regular Scottish entertainment and a guaranteed good time with fellow guests and staff in the Loch Ness Bar. In the evening, traditional bar meals and dishes from an à la carte menu are served.

The 'Drum,' as it is affectionately known, is the deserving winner of several top awards, including the Scottish Licensed Trade News Tourism Initiative Award for 1996 and the Scottish Licensed Trade Use Marketing Initiative of the Year in 1997 and 1998. The friendly hotel team will be on hand to help out with any information and advice you may need during your stay.

Restaurants and Bars

During the day the Loch Ness cafe opens from 09:00 through to 17:00. This self service restaurant has a variety of foods and beverages to accommodate all tastes. There are always hot soups, jacket potatoes and salads with every type of filling possible available and hot specials freshly prepared by the chef every day. A vegetarian special is also available. You may wish to sit upstairs in our viewing lounge and enjoy the scenery, and why not try a local beer or whisky at the same time. From 18:00 through to 21:30 the Loch Ness bistro opens. We offer our a la carte menu or bar suppers. There are supplement foods available on request. Once you have enjoyed a delicious meal, then you may wish to head to the bar for a nightcap or 2! There is usually entertainment at the weekends and guaranteed good rapport with fellow guests and staff.

Directions

By Car From Inverness: - Take the A82 to Fort William. - The hotel is 14 miles from Inverness. - You will see a Loch Ness 2000 Exhibition Centre sign on the left-hand side directing you to the hotel. - Coming from the Fort William side, drive straight through the village of Drumnadrochit, over a small bridge. - Turn right round the corner and you will see a sign on your right directing you to the hotel.
