Opened in 1978, this purpose built hotel is set in its own grounds on the banks of the river Ugie. With a great reputation for food and value for money it has been serving visitors and the local community ever since.

The hotel has a relaxing open foyer lounge, 2 bars and a restaurant overlooking the gardens. A fully-equipped gym and swimming pool help you to work off your dinner and the comfortable rooms have all you need for your stay.

Nestling on the easternmost extremity of the dramatic Buchan coastline, Peterhead is still a busy fishing port as well as servicing the offshore industry. Within 5 miles of the hotel are St. Fergus gas terminal and Score's turbine testing facility. The area plays host to a wealth of wildlife, both resident and visiting. The RSPB's Loch of Strathbeg reserve are a great place to see the many migrating birds. Golfers are well catered for with Peterhead, Fraserburgh and Cruden Bay clubs within easy reach. Further inland is Aberdeenshire castle and whisky country.
