Tudor beamed houses surround this cosy inn, which is graced by the Grey Lady, a resident, but friendly, ghost! Probably one of the cosiest inns in Kent, if not in England, with a well kept cellar!

A lovely old inn near the ancient village square at Chilham in the heart of the garden of England - Kent. This is probably one of the most picturesque villages in Kent.

" Pleasant surroundings in attractive picturesque village. The staff were friendly and helpful, the furnishings well maintained. The accomodation, which was over the road was excellent. The restaurant food was first class. A thoroughly enjoyable stay. Only complaint was the positioning of the noisy air conditioning unit... which was right in the courtyard seating area! Other than that, I'd highly recommend this place to anyone. "

Each room is tastefully decorated and furnished in keeping with the traditional inn. Some ground floor accommodation is available. Some of our rooms are within a converted stable block, thus allowing a small patio area to the rear of the letting accommodation, main house and gardens are pleasant and appealing to the eye.

Located just off of the main A28 Ashford - Canterbury Road at the junction of the A252 Maidstone Road. The inn is found at the bottom of the High Street, on the approach to the picturesque village square.
