Area Information

La Morra, located on the top of a large headland, is part of an area renowned for its wine and castles. The village overlooks the valley of river Po on one side, surrounded by the Alps, whilst on the other side, it boasts a breathtaking view of the hills, covered in vineyards.

The old centre of La Morra is the top of the hill, where a castle reared in the past. Visitors can also see the ruins of the medieval city walls and a few buildings from the late middle ages and 17th century.
