Great location in Centre of Bath. Large Quiet Room. Friendly Staff. Free Car Parking Pass too !
Watch out for the steep stairs to the Attic Rooms.

"Nice room and good location" (107775735)
Friendly and helpful staff
Although the room was quiet, I was woken up by the staff working upstairs in the morning.

"Excellent hotel....Friendly and helpful staff." (107971080)
Situated in a lovley road, close to the city centre. Getting about was easy, all of the places of interest are clearly marked.
Parking was a headache...getting a spot was difficult.

"Excellent, we will stay again." (107741920)
A very good welcoming approach by the receptionist Victoria. All that needed explaining was explained clearly but with good humour.
If I must pick one, then the TV in the room was on a wall bracket which stuck out a little, a flat screen would have avoided this, so basically, no bad points.

"Location good but overpriced. Because of this when we visit again will try another B&B. " (107263994)
Staff very good
Overpriced for condition of room decor and amenities. Should be bath robes, water and no extra charge for cooked breakfast etc.

"Ideal location, nice staff and atmosphere. A bit pricey for such a small room, but that's the location." (99893091)
Excellent location for centre of town, relatively easy to park on the street.
Very small room, even for a single. The shower was also too small to be comfortable and I'm only a petite 5'2".

"Lovely staff who accommodated my parking needs very well (I was able to pay for a second day's parking). My hair dryer wasn't working, but they found me another one very quickly. I don't think the heated towel rail was working either (or I was unable to work out how to switch it on!) but it didn't matter as I was only there for one night. The cooked breakfast was good (though I've had better quality sausages), but it's a shame that you have to pay extra for it. The continental choice wasn't brilliant, so I felt I needed the cooked one. All the staff I encountered were wonderful - friendly, helpful and efficient. Overall a good hotel in an excellent location, though the extras (parking and breakfast) mean that the bill gets bumped up a bit." (97785164)
Excellent location; bathroom was beautifully appointed; good tv with some digital channels. Good extras like bath products and tea/coffee/biscuits.
Room was very compact! Decor was a little tired.

"I booked this in a hurry and nearly cancelled at the last moment after reading such poor reviews on the Internet. The Windsor is now under new ownership and everything appears to have been addressed. The welcome was warm, the room beautiful, air conditioning,an excellent breakfast especially the sausages!, the proximity to the town centre and Jane Austen lived in the next street at one time and would probably have walked passed the front door! This was a perfect receipe to an excellent break and have already recommended the Windsor to several friends." (97876098)
The warmth of the welcome, the cleanliness, the beautiful surroundings, the surprise after reading dreadful reviews on the Internet, and the close proximity to Jane Austen's Bath.
Having to leave so my husband could go back to work.

"I had a very enjoyable stay. When i arrived i was given a map of the area and made to feel welcome. The single room with en suite was lovely, although at the top of the hotel. This didn't bother me but should have been highlighted in the room description for those people who have difficulty climbing stairs where no lift is available." (97595291)
The room was lovely. The staff were very friendly and welcoming.

"The Rooms were very good, clean and very tidy. The hotel is excellently located for the city centre (about 5 mins walk) and the staff were amazing, the friendliest I have experienced in the UK! The hotel makes the Bath experience even more enjoyable. I highly recommend this hotel and will stay again if I am in Bath again!" (97130511)
Great location, beautiful rooms and friendly staff.

"We had a ready enjoyable stay. The staff were very friendly and accomodating. There was side street car parking on the local roads but it wasn't free. It requires a permit which you can hire from the hotel." (97471450)
The hotel had lots of character and the location was brilliant - you looked down the road and you could see the town centre.

"I am only being critical as we were very happy with our stay, but as it was very hot when we stayed, the rooms only had a small inadequete fan, which made it quite uncomfortable. Also I would have preferred breakfast in the dining room. Eating off a table whilst sitting on a sofa/arm chair is not that easy! Finally I have stayed in less expensive hotels with slightly better facilities. For " (3304827181)
Everything was very good. Things that stood out were staff friendliness, homely feel, good standard of decor/cleanliness
There was nothing we disliked.

"The hotel and room facilities were very adequate, the tea & coffee provided free was very nice. The overnight room service was a bit dissapointing. We ordered a sake and recieved a japanese lager! the porter didn't know what sake was, even though it was on the menu. Breakfast served in the room attracted an additional " (3304998507)
