"Not bad. Would stay again." (108237665)
the location; the bar; the breakfast.
Poor shower - cold water only because of low pressure; hotel full.

"Enjoyable, only real gripe was the tea and coffee at breakfast. Will probably stay again with my wife later this year or spring next year." (107797722)
Clean, stylish, comfortable, friendly staff. Quiet location, no disturbance at night, no live entertainment! Late bar but not rowdy with large TV and good view out to sea. Comfortable bed.
Tea and coffee at breakfast didnt taste very nice each time we had breakfast. Could offer grapefruit and/or yoghurt option for healthy breakfast. More milk, sugar tea in room would be nice. Quite far from the pier but the quality of the hotel makes up for this and the pleasant walk along the promenade.

"As two older ladies, we felt very comfortable and the public areas of the Hotel are very attractive and the outside patio with sea view, very pleasant. " (107633229)
The owner was very charming and most helpful (carying our cases upstairs)and most gracious. I understand that he has only had the Hotel for 2 yers and is working through the rooms. Our single rooms were only just adequate although quite comfortable .This is a problem with single rooms in my experience. We did have a sea view, much appreciated. As a serious animal concerned person, I was so pleased to be provided with free range eggs, as requested. Thanks
There seemed to be a problem with the servicing of the room on a daily basis - one does not want to complain too much - although I did mention my concerns once. We had a charming waitress at breakfast - the more mature lady. The younger lady was rather brusque!

"We felt that guests had to fall in line with the owners timetable and was not a relaxing stay. Definitely as paying guests we did not feel that the owners were there to provide a service to us. Latest time for breakfast was 9am sharp and check-out was 10am which is not always suitable for someone trying to enjoy a holiday. would not recommend to any of my friends travelling to llandudno." (108804319)
.downstairs the main dining rooms cum bar had been tastefully refurbished.
room was small, sliding door to the ensuite swung out into the bedroom therefore providing no privacy to the user and there was no power in the shower which the owner seemed non-plussed about and did not offer any recompense.

"Enjoyed the stay, the hotel was correct for what we needed, a nice place to sleep, for a fair price. Shame the room size and some equipment was a let down." (107435697)
The hotel had a nice atmosphere, was clean, the rooms were decorated attractively and the breakfast was good, the view was very nice.
Room was quite small, shower was faulty, hairdryer was faulty, toilet was not fixed down properly, bathroom door had no lock.

"Overall a very good experience. We were a bit disappointed by the problems with the bathroom. But the view of the sea made-up for these shortcomings. " (107452726)
Service from staff of Manor Hotel excellent. This includes booking in as well as confirming the booking by phone. Our request for a quiet room with a view of the sea was met and was an excellent experience for us both.
Unfortunately the toilet roll holder was not securely attached to the wall by the toilet. During the night it fell off the wall and scared us both. The water jets of the jaccuzzi had not been recently cleaned so smelled of rotting fish when we first cleaned the jets to clear them...not very pleasant. Therefore the nights stay was not really worth £105.

"If bedding was improved, would not hesitate to stay at this hotel again." (107852397)
Lovely hotel, good room generally (apart from bed), very attractive bar area, excellent position.
Bed was very very cold, especially from underneath, and mattress was past its best, so slept poorly, which was not good before a long drive the next day. This coloured everything else, including value for money (which would otherwise have been brilliant).

"Excellent experiance and good value." (107169176)
This is a friendly and comfortable hotel. Parking could be an issue but not when I stayed, out of season. My room was clean, warm but had seen better days. However, I will stay there again because a hotel should be more than a room, and this was a good experience. The ambiance was good, the staff friendly, I was a person not a room number as you often get in so many hotels today. Good value for money.
Parking maybe an issue in season. I did not like the sliding door between shower room and bed room.

"great" (107192024)
Homely atmosphere felt as soon as I entered the hotel. Warmly welcomed to the hotel on arrival etc
nothing really about the hotel to complain about except that people passing the hotel in the early hours of the morning where very noisy and woke me up. I am a heavy sleeper so noise does not usually bother me

"The overall location of the hotel was good, a shopping area was just down the road. the layout of the downstairs and the bedrooms was well thought out. We stayed in a family room and the beds were very comfortable. The other 2 single beds were over the other side of the room and situated to allow easy access between beds and the bathroom. All areas were very clean and simply decorated. We found we had enough wardrobe and cupboard space and enjoyed central heating and tea & coffee making facilities. We had free parking and didn't find parking on the road an issue at all. I would most definitely stay at this hotel again and would recommend to family & friends." (97715917)
Booking in was very quick and manager couldn't do enough to help as we had travelled to wales to attend an early wedding. He allowed us to book in and have the room key so it would be easier for us to access our room later in the day. The full cooked breakfast was much needed and cooked to perfection. Every thing was hot and cereal, toast, tea/coffee and orange juice were available.
no bad points at all concerning this hotel

Possibly a little expensive in comparision to other hotels in area. Parking also annoying but not hotels fault.

"Pleasant enough but could have been made really enjoyable by a little care and attention - would not stay again as this was by no means the cheapest hotel in the area and I did not receive help with my case which made things very very difficult for me." (97897922)
Great location and easy parking. Breakfast was lovely and enjoyed by all, support staff were friendly and helpful.
Kept waiting when booking in, despite being an adult on my own with 3 children I was put on the second floor and offered no assistance with taking the case containg ALL of our items in up the two steep flights of stairs. Whilst support staff were all very helpful I felt that the manager had other priorities than offering a good service to his guests.

"Well located, small hotel along the seafront with lovely seaviews. Convenient parking and shops nearby. We booked this hotel for the David Essex concert at Venue Cymru and it's just a few minutes stroll away to the theatre. Approx 15-20 mins walk from Llandudno station or for the less mobile, a few mins taxi ride. The Manor Hotel provides adequately equipped, clean rooms with attentive staff - good full English breakfast included. Not suitable for guests who require lifts." (97865033)
Great seaviews from bedroom window. Friendly staff and adequately equipped clean room. Close proximity to Venue Cymru. Good full English breakfast.
No real minuses, except not suitable for more elderly guests as there is no lift.

"Overall the whole building including the public areas were tired, no it was exhausted, and in need of a big skip, and a good clean!" (108040851)
The owner offer us a free drink as compensation for our disappointment.
A deposit was taken at time of booking, which was acceptable, but the remaining balance was requested immediately we arrived at the hotel, which was strange until we saw the room(s)! The owner was very friendly; no receipt was given for our remaining payment. The condition of the stair carpet leading to our first room on the second floor contained a thousand and one stains of various sizes and colours. The landing light didn?t work, but we managed to find our room. On opening the door the room was very disappointing. The bed cover contained a large dried fluid stain. The toilet wasn?t fixed to the wall and moved when used. The door to the bathroom was a poor DIY job gone badly wrong, as it swung from a poorly fitted bracket and the door never fully closed, privacy just didn?t exist. The furniture was pink/grey and a 14inch TV sat on the window sill. Having stayed at a three star Best Western the previous night for
