    "Overall a value for money weekend package, hotel locaction acceptable but it is a good walk to the town." (108015606)

    Clean hotel with nice bar area and attentive staff, also the room service food was above average.

    Although the hotel was well priced a tray charge of £5 is a steep to deliver food to the room.

    "the staff were very pleasant at all times . It was a way out from the main shopping centre. Taxis varied in price some 5 pounds and some 7 pounds yet taxies wait time very promt so this was no bother we did not eat in the hotel so I cant comment on the food . the room was warm and beds very comforatable .     "My husband and I had a very pleasent stay at your hotel. The room was very clean and comftable. The food was very good, the staff was friendly and helpfull. We would have liked more information at the hotel on directions and information on the trafford centre and manchester united football club and any of their shops, as this was the main reason for our visit."     There was a constant drone from the air handling system which the staff could not stop. It kept us awake all night.

    "Everything I needed to know was provided in the advertising of the hotel. I like to know about in room facilities etc. and hotel location all of this was explained and I was delighted with the quality and bright demeanor of the staff also their politeness and willingness to assist. I would recommend this hotel and definitely stay again. Next time hopefully for much longer.The directions were also important and very good indeed.     "Cost of bed and breakfast was expensive. Then to add £3 per person for full english breakfast on top of £149 was a bit excessive. When we returned to the hotel at 11 30 there was a queue at the bar of twelve people. You should have catered for a number of customers at the bar-again because of the costs I do not expect to wait for over 15 minutes at 11 30 to get served." (99150587)

    "My partner and i stayed the night before the Great Manchester Run. we drove a few minutes into Manchester to do some shopping on the Saturday. Not far at all. We walked to the start of the run on the Sunday and it only took 15-20 minutes to get to centre of Manchester. Very handy. The hotel allowed us to keep the room so we could shower after our run and the car was secure all night in the locked car park. The view from the hotel isn't pretty but this hotel met our needs perfectly and we would definitely stay again." (99036287)

    clean, modern, comfortable. Staff were very helpful. Food in the dining room was excellent. Best Mussels I've had!

    only complaint some drunk women woke me at 3am locked out of their room. disturbance only lasted 10 minutes.

    Lovely room, large and very comfortable bed. Luxury and comfort at a reasonable price.

    The only complaint I would have is the view we had from our room at the back. It looked a little bit like waste ground, but to be fair, Holiday Inn have recently taken over this hotel and it did look like they are going to do something with this area...Maybe a nice little garden or something?

    "When we booked we thought we were getting a decent hotel at a reasonable price, but we have since found out that the same room type 2 weeks earlier was almost half the price!!!!!!!     Room was clean and comfortable, good location; 15 minutes walking distance from the city center.

    TV had zero variety , we were under the impression that we would get Sky channels , but the only thing we got was the promotional channel! We could only watch a couple of BBC channels , and everythinng else was pay per view! There was also a mixup with the amount we had to pay , but that was quickly waived off and handled by the staff.

    "Friendly staff on check in and out. Hotel is nicely sited for quick access into the City centre and about a half hour brisk walk to Old Trafford football stadium, a local map would have been handy, especially if you have plenty of time you could walk to the centre although the taxi cost is low.     "This was the first time I have been away with my girlfriend and I was a little nervous about something going wrong with the check in or confirmation, I was also worried that as we are a young couple we would be regarded as troublesome to the staff. My worries were quickly dispelled when we walked in to the reception and we were greeted by three of your staff and helped to check in straight away. We were then given clear instruction to where our room was and found it no problem, there was a slight problem with the first keycard we were given however but we thought it was our fault not using the right technique. The problem was quickly resolved with a new card and we had no further problems. After we put our bags into our room we went back down to the reception and asked for directions to the Salford Quays, your staff were very helpful and we found our way there. We enjoyed the stay a lot as the bed was very comfortable and we slept the whole night with no disturbance. In the morning we got up fairly early and went for breakfast, which is always the best part of a hotel stay in my opinion, we were told where everything was and both enjoyed several different types of breakfast. All in all it was a wonderful weekend and we will definitely be back!" (99781593)

    The hotel was very modern and the staff were welcoming and helpful. Breakfast was very good too!

    The room itself felt a little cramped, not because of the size but because it seemed there was too much furniture in there. It is a minor quibble because we spent little time inside the hotel room anyway.

    "Took several attempts to eventually get a meal in the hotel restuarant we could have, menu very restricted because of unavailability of choices.     "Overall this was a nice hotel and an enjoyable stay. The check in staff could have been more friendly, however this was compensated by the very friendly room service member of staff.
