"Top notch, although didn't sample the breakfast or restaurant. " (107248285)

The chap who checked us in was fab! Think his name was George??

Very loud and long argument about drugs outside the hotel one night. Not sure if guests or just Chertsey locals!

    "Good. Breakfast was expensive!" (108008009)

Very well appointed room (riverside view)

Had to pay for the room on arrival which was unusual. Then had to pay again on departure for extras.

    "Poor" (107116437)

The room was spacious for the 3 of us.

Room was very very hot. Only one window opened and despite having the fan on all the time we were unable to sleep properly at night. The carpet was stained with what looked like vomit! My husband was unable to use the "free" wifi, without setting up a payment account with BT!! We were unable to book a table in the restaurant in the evening and therefore found ourselves unable to sit where we wanted and waiting over an hour for our food.

Friendly, helpful staff. Incredibly convenient to offices I was visiting

Bar had run out of draught non-lager beers

Room very clean; nicely overlooks the river.

Shower only had hot, hotter, too hot settings. No ventilation in room--very hot. Bugs flew in at night.

    decorate the room

you have a problem with the bathroom, there is no shower pipes and water flows on the ground, stains on the toilet, engine noise outside and no electrical adapter for my laptop (france).

"Good but all 5 of us staying would not return due to the heat in the rooms - we stayed 2 nights and had very little sleep despite comfy beds. " (97142101)

The hotel was clean and the staff friendly. Bed comfy.

The rooms were very hot even with windows wide open and no duvet. The weather was not particularly warm so I dread to think how hot it would be during a heat wave. Some of the taps were corroded. Fans not working.

"as a couple we did not sleep to well this made the stay an unpleasant experience due to the hard bed we could not wait to get home. we made a comment at reception and was told the bed are used ever night so have to be made hard I could not be bothered to argue but you could say that most bed are used ever night as my one at home is. ps the price of the breakfast does not match the quality it was bland and lacked taste." (97616635)

nice room /clean / well furnished.

hard bed could not sleep bland breakfast

"A very nice hotel with more than adequate rooms" (108060419)

Room was very nice and clean with a good veiw

We were phoned to say that we had cancelled the booking when we had not. This caused quite an alarm. If reception had realised that the two lots of paperwork they had were the same it would have made sense to them.

The room and service were adequate and the hotel was well positioned for our purposes.

The food on the resturant was not he greatest.

Room was very clean, comfortable and pleasant. We had a nice view of the river and Chertsey bridge.

Super room and facilities, excellent parking, great views from room window. Attentive staff in bar/restaurent.

When talking at reception the phone rang. The receptionist immediately answered the phone and engaged in a conversation, ignoring us in mid transaction. I just hate that.

the young lady who checked us in was very nice and polite. the food was nice

we sat outside and had a drink. it took nearly three hours for the previous customers glasses etc to be cleared away and that was only because we had to ask tha bar staff who were standing round chatting. all the tables outside were filthy and emty glasses everywhere.

    "Excellent" (108046238)

Everything (apart from cold tap below)

Cold water tap in bathroom handbasin - hardly any flow of water from it. Mentioned it to reception staff who were going to deal with it.

Loved the location of the hotel, the view was brilliant. The rooms were fantastic and I had a great nights sleep. Nice big room and lovely bathroom. I also found the staff to be very helpful.

I felt the reception area of the hotel, let it down. Small and very bleak. Also the check out time of 11am was very inconvenient, most other hotels is 12, along with the fact that breakfast finishes at half nine and no food available then till 12. This I have to say was slightly disappointing

Aircraft noise (it's on a flight path) seriously marred the overnight stay and additional sound insulation is a must for repeat business. If it was installed I would happily stay there again.

plenty of parking and the bar nad restaurant area!

The room that we were given had the air con unit right outside the window and this we found was very disturbing especially when it kicked in again about 7.30-8am!

"Hotel is in a nice location overlooking the river. Unfortunately my room was on the opposite side of the hotel overlooking the road and noisy kitchen extraction unit, so if booking ask for a room overloking the river. The room was clean and the bed comfortable, with the decor in good order. The shower however was bad, taking 10 minutes to heat up, i don't know if this problem applies to all rooms." (97520998)

    convenient location

Water took 15 minutes to heat up

"Fabulous but a little too hot at night time. Will visit again for sure." (97957879)

    very clean and aesthetically sound

no air conditioning and window could not be left open because it could be accessed by public as it was on the first floor facing out to a roof-top which had an open staircase leading to it. This was very disapointing but in all other aspects, the hotel was perfect, including location opposite the Orega training center.

Second floor room position overlooking Thames. English Breakfast excellent with full choice.

An English continental Breakfast - Although not strictly a requirement the option of meat or cheese with the croisant would have been a welcomed addition. Coffee could have been hotter.

"On the whole The Boathouse is a very nice and pleasant place to stay. We would in future ensure that that we had a riverside room due to the noise on the entrance side. The staff were very friendly and accommadating. The food was good and always hot. We had a very nice weekend." (99900215)

The room was very clean and comfortable and it even had a hair dryer.

We were in room 105 and unfortunately it was above the entrance so there was alot of noise with people coming and going at night. It was also very close the main road which was quite noisy. We were above the air conditioning fans on the flat foof and because they were so noisy all night long we didn't get much sleep, also due to the fact that we had to shut the windows because of the noise and it was very hot and stuffy.
