" The end of the stay was better than the begining. The food was nice." (108982121)

The food was nice. When approached with a problem, could not have been more helpful.

The bedroom was not very good,it very cold and the bathroom was very very small. The cleaning could have been better.

"Luckily we only had one night in this hotel. We left immediately after breakfast." (108377923)

    Breakfast was good.

The place felt more like a hostel than a hotel. Little or nothing in the way of facilities. Very basic.

Clean, friendly, well-organised, very good value-for-money.

Room was a bit small, but adequate.

"The only thing that spoilt the stay was the noise from fans in the hotel behind. A room at the front would have avoided this problem, but I booked at short notice and was pleased to get a room of any kind. I enjoyed the breakfast." (108130612)

    Comfortable bed . Good breakfast.

    Noise from hotel behind.

Hotel was run down and seedy. Room was poorly furnished with a broken shower. Hot breakfast food was pre cooked and heated up and was of very poor quality.

    "The location was good" (108440008)

    location

The Bar was not open at all, No real parking facilitys,on street parking only which must be paid for.no effort made to give a low floor (my wife uses a wheelchair)in spite of it not being fully booked

"You get what you pay for and this was good value for money. It is in an excellent location on the front although parking could be a challenge. Plenty of spaces after 1800ish" (108732299)

This is a budget hotel and other reviews seem to have over looked this. From my point of view it was clean and met reasonable requirements. The owner was friendly and helpful.

The bathroom could do with a freshen up but there was a good shower and clean towels.

"This was the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. It was a disgusting experience and I hope after reading this, nobody else books it." (107746351)

    There weren't any

This hotel was absolutely disgusting. It was not clean at all - the walls were dirty, the curtains barely closed properly, there were wires hanging from the ceiling (presumably from an old light, the shower had mould in it, the bedhead was hanging off - shall I go on more?? And when I woke up in the middle of the night, I switched the light on only to find bedbugs/lice crawling all over both beds. It was appalling.

"A very disappointing experience which I would not like to repeat " (108306244)

Manager was polite but that is all I can find as a positive.

The general state of the hotel was poor and in need of an extreme makeover. The paintwork was shabby and patched up in places where there had been leaks. We hired 3 rooms, in one room the window did not shut and the shower didn't work. In another the carpet had been pulled up and re-laid for re-wiring work but this meant that the main door to the room was catching on the carpet which made it difficult to open and a fire hazard, it would only shut if slammed. In the third room the shower cubicle doors were hanging off so a curtain was draped round where the door didn't go, the shower had a constant drip and the cubicle leaked. The breakfast was cooked in advance and was luke warm when it arrived so we didn't bother the second morning and went out and paid for a breakfast elsewhere.

"I would say this is very good value for money and in a great location. I have read some poor reviews of this hotel and feel they are a bit harsh. " (108533116)

Room was clean and nicely decorated. Beds made and towels changed daily. Ideal position in Llandudno with a lovely view of the promenade. The owner of this hotel was very helpful and polite.

Breakfast was a bit cold. Some areas of the hotel could do with a fresh coat of paint.

    the booking system is easy

the hotel was in a bad state of repair. I am not sure whether this was due to work being carried out or just to poor management.

    Value for money

More tv channels in the room. Need a bigger sign, as it was difficlt to find. Communication problems between us and staff at te beginning

"Overall we had a good stay. Considering the hotel is on the seafront the quality is reflected in the relatively low price compared to some of the other hotels along that way so although there were a few negative aspects our experience was still a positive one." (107804731)

The staff at the hotel were very friendly and helpful. The room had everything we needed for our stay. Breakfast was excellent.

As we were only there for a concert we spent very little time in our room so it didn't really bother us that it was very small, quite basic and had very dated decor plus a broken shower door, had we been there for different prupose this might have been a bit more of an issue. I always think hotels should provide extra pillows and blankets so that was another negative point.

The hotel is good value for the momey. Breakfast was included in the package. It was very good and the portions were generous. The location is excellent. The gentleman who checked us in and later served breakfast was courteous and helpful.

The hotel is not fancy, but that is not relevant in a situation where one seeks a hotel that is clean, safe, comfortable and reasonably priced.

Excellent service at breakfast & overall attention by staff. Very good room cleaning daily, with a clean bath towel every day & replacement of tea, coffee, milk etc. A nice roomy lounge bar to mix with other guests at night.

Nothing really bad as such, but the decor & carpets had a rather 'tired' look & had obviously been 'in situ' a long time.

"The hotel provided the basic requirements for one night away." (107847959)

The manager was pleasant and generally helpful. A breakfast compromise was achieved with cereal being left out the night before which we were able to help ourselves to.

The listing stated private car parking available. This was mis-leading as there was only space for one vehicle. One of the main reasons for choosing the hotel was that it had private car parking facilities allegedly. Breakfast was not available before 8am and we needed to leave by 7.30am. There was no discount for not having breakfast.
