"Good value for money stop over hotel in great location especially at £50 B&B for two. Very comfortable beds. Would have appreciated more choices of evening menu at slightly lower prices." (97770542)

Very comfortable room with sea view. Double glazing very effective against gale force winds. Good breakfast.

Pricier evening menu than was expected, with limited choice.

The evening meal was of good quality and value, breakfast excellent. Please note - the person staying is Mrs Cairns - not person who provided the debit card info!!" (97004028)

Comfortable bed and all amenities available. Room service on offer; coffee facility on hand.

    Slow running water in bath.

The genaral atmosphere was friendly and relaxed, staff were very friendly and helpful.

A more powerful shower would've been nice but really there was nothing to dislike.

Clean, compact and tidy, adequate for needs.

Room small, in-room seating minimal and uncomfortable. Shower slow. Decor very old fashioned, dark and oppressive - upgrading to bright welcoming and modern style - would open up the room.

"We enjoyed our stay, mainly for the hotel's ideal situation. Our first room (14) had some minor faults; however, when these were pointed out, we were immediately put into a more spacious and better room - just a pity that we then had to point out that there was a leak from behind the toilet, which grew in area whenever the toilet was flushed. The fact that this had not been attended to before it was pointed out, I thought rather regrettable." (99346283)

Our room was changed immediately we pointed out one or two faults, the major one of which was that no water was available from the hot tap in our bathroom.

The initial room was small, the only chair provided was more in the nature of a garden chair than an easy chair and the TV was poorly sited.

Clean, very comfortable bed. lovely view, tastefully decorated, nice friendly staff, good food, excellent choice for breakfast menu. nice comfortable dinning room. Our table was reserved with a fantastic view

Seating area uncomfortable and chairs fixed with tape. extra bed (we booked a double not a family) took up too much room, bath was too high and difficult to climb into, shower preasure was poor, shelves need in bathroom, nowhere to put toiletries,

Restaurant very good with fair choice and nice food. Decent breakfast too with good choice. Shame about lack of smoking area in bar. Very helpful staff so all in all recommended." (99606413)

The sink vanity unit was very evidently rotted and resulted in a smell. Some light bulbs were missing.
