  How convienient it was to all the amenities

  the rooms were not sound proof and we were able to hear noise and talking in the room next door especially the shower in the bathroom next door. Also the hair dryer and tv in the room were not working!

  "The location of the hotel was not as represented by the pictures that were displayed on the Active Hotel website. This really should be updated. It was a much scruffier area than expected. The street outside was dirty and busy local bus stop area, and the narrow pavement was usually very crowded. Handy for the Railway Station and the Long Distance Bus Terminal though. On busy mornings the breakfast facilities (shared with the Hotel Ambassador) were totally inadequate. There were not enough tables, not enough staff, and being self-service the food areas were always overcrowded. It was almost like being in a football crowd sometimes." (99080895)

  Friendly and helpful staff.

  Could not get the air-con to work properly and on the last night it was completely up the spout.
