  "We were greatly impressed with the room, the facilities, and the hotel generally, apart from one point. On the morning of the 17th we came down to breakfast about 9:00 am to find that the breakfast room was full. We asked if we could have breakfast in our room and were told that we could, but that it would cost €3 each extra. If the hotel was unable to accommodate us in the breakfast room, that was its problem, and we felt we should have been offered breakfast in our room at no extra charge. €6 is not a large amount of money, but we objected to paying it in principle. The young lady at the desk said she was unable to waive the extra charge. We ended up queuing a bit longer for a place (as were several other guests), and in the end decided to go out for breakfast instead. This took the edge off our stay, and our overall impression of the hotel. I emailed the hotel shortly after our return, making this complaint, but have as yet had no reply. That makes matters worse. We would recommend the hotel, but with the caveat that they should offer breakfast in your room at no extra charge because of the limited size of the breakfast room." (97973961)
