This fine example of a Victorian Tudor style country house with 18-hole Springs Golf Course has easy access to both Oxford and Reading.

Reward success on the golf course with a delicious evening meal and comfortable night's stay. Enjoy peaceful hours by the spring-fed lake and majestic gardens. Other facilities include a putting green, croquet lawn, coarse fishing on the banks of the Thames, a sauna and an outdoor swimming pool.

The award-winning AA Rosette Lakeside Restaurant offers an excellent menu for both lunch and dinner, 7 days a week. On Sundays there is a superb lunchtime carvery.

The Springs Golf Course is a challenging course. The course is kept in excellent condition all year round, providing a picturesque walk through the beautiful Oxfordshire countryside and a good challenge to golfers of all standards.

In the attractive Tudor-style clubhouse you will find a welcoming and friendly atmosphere, where you can enjoy good food from a varied menu, which includes snacks from our specials board.

Officially designated an area of outstanding natural beauty in 133 acres of parkland and bordered by the river Thames, it makes an exquisite and tranquil setting for the course. Within it lies 3 lakes and challenging wetland areas to add to the attractions of the par-72 course. Designed by former Ryder Cup Captain Brian Huggett MBE, it features a double green, sleepered bunker and sleepered lake edges of a typical American design. The beautiful par 3, 8th is the designer's signature hole and the 18th, a par 4 with a split fairway around a listed copse, is an interesting challenge.

The Lakeside restaurant has an intimate atmosphere inspired by its gentle décor and the lovely view of the lake.
The award-winning menu takes advantage of fresh local produce, and the well-stocked cellar of international wines provides the perfect accompaniment to a splendid meal.

Facilities at the hotel also include: a putting green, a croquet lawn, coarse fishing on the banks of the Thames, a sauna and an outdoor heated swimming pool.

Should you still feel energetic after your golf, then you could take a stroll along the "Ridgeway" walk or you could take out one of the hotel's mountain bikes and explore the surrounding area.

Our Lakeside Restaurant has panoramic views of the spring-fed lake, and this, along with the service standard and friendly ambience, go together to create an enjoyable, relaxed and atmospheric experience. We always strive to ensure that the client has the best experience possible in our Restaurant, and will endeavour to pay the utmost attention to detail that is required. Our wine list is designed to complement Chef's menus perfectly, and will suite all tastes. With our experienced Head Barman, we can also offer an extensive array of Cocktails. Dress code for the Restaurant is smart/casual (Jeans and Trainers not permitted)

M40: Junction 6 to Wallingford, Benson and Wallingford. Join the a4074 towards Reading and after the Wallingford Roundabout rejoin to b4009 towards Goring. The Hotel is situated on the right hand side.1 Wallingford Road. M4: Junction 12 to Newbury and follow the signs to Pangbourne A340 and then to Streatley. Take a right at the traffic lights opposite The Bull Public House. At the end of the road turn left to join the B4009 towards Wallingford. The Hotel is approximately 10 minutes drive situated on the left hand side. 1 Wallingford Road.
