This hotel which has retained elements of its original architecture and the traditional style enjoys an excellent location in the heart of the city, close to The Bullring shopping mall with its 140 shops. Surrounded by major retailers, shopping designers, jewellery markets and shopping malls, the Britannia Hotel Birmingham offers rooms equipped with private bathrooms for all customers. A bar and a restaurant are available in the hotel. They serve a selection of hot and cold snacks. The motorway network, the National Exhibition Centre (NEC), the International Convention Centre and the National Indoor Arena stadium are easily accessible from the hotel. For customers travelling by train: New Street (with NCP parking) is located in front of the hotel and the train stations of Snow Hill and Moor Street Railway are within walking distance. By Car:
From the M6:
- Leave the M6 at junction 6 and follow the signs to the city centre.
- At the 'Motorway End' sign, take the left slip road to ring road east.
- At the roundabout (with the fire station on the left), take the 1st left and get into the right-hand lane.
- Under the underpass to St Martins Circus, stay to the right and take the 1st left round the Rotunda into New Street.
- The hotel is located on the right-hand side (main entrance is in Union Passageway).

From the M5:
- Leave at junction 3 and follow the signs to the city centre.
- At the ICC complex, follow the signs to New Street Station.
- Go around Paradise Circus, down Suffolk Street Queensway to Holloway Circus roundabout.
- Turn left into Smallbrook Queensway, past New Street Station on the left.
- Take the next left round the Rotunda into New Street.
- The hotel is located on the right-hand side (main entrance in Union Passageway).
