The Due Mori is the only hotel within Marostica's medieval walls, just a few steps from the city square where the famous human chess game is played.

Positioned in the heart of the Veneto region and close to the historic city of Vicenza, Marostica is full of important attractions including Scaglieri castles. The surrounding area also offers ideal day trips to the Palladian villas, Bassano del Grappa, Asolo, Padua, Venice and the Dolomites.

Renovated a few years ago, this design hotel is part of an 18th century historic building. With spacious rooms overlooking this medieval city, the hotel features private parking and underground car park. At the hotel you will enjoy rooms with modern conveniences, panoramic views of the medieval walls and en suite marble bathrooms and showers with natural stone flooring.

The owner, also working as a tour guide, will be happy to provide you with itineraries and tips to fill your sightseeing programme.

Just outside Marostica you can visit Villa Godi and Villa Barbaro. Other nearby attractions: - Possagno, birthplace of Antonio Canova, - Ponte degli Alpini, the wooden covered Bridge in Bassano del Grappa, - Asolo, - Cittadella and Castelfranco Veneto. The surrounding area is also full of activities. You can trek in Asiago or the Dolomites, go horseback riding in the countryside and hills and take a canoe or rafting tour along the Brenta River. You can also enjoy the sun on the beaches of Lake Garda or the Adriatic Sea. During your stay, be sure to visit to one of the local wine-cellars or grappa distilleries and a stop in one of the many pottery or jewellery workshops.
