The hotel makes a great base from which to explore the city and its 14th-century cathedral. You can also visit the docks, with the National Waterways Museum, the Antiques Centre and the Museum of Advertising and Packaging. Further afield are the Cotswolds, Cheltenham and the Forest of Dean.
