The Axel Hotel finds itself in the heart of Schöneberg's party scene. Countless colourful bars, discos and restaurants can be found in the hotel’s immediate vicinity. The Wittenbergplatz and Augsburger Straße U-Bahn (underground) stations are both approximately 400 metres away from the Axel Hotel, providing a fast and easy connection to all of Berlin’s most popular sights. These include the Brandenburg Gate and the Museum Island. Numerous world-famous attractions can be reached on foot. These include the Kaiser-Wilhelm-Gedächtniskirche (memorial church), the Kurfürstendamm shopping avenue and the world-renowned KaDeWe department store.
